Hi, my name is Pete Jones, I've been photographer for many years but like many the digital age has helped me improve on my skills to the extent that people keep buying pictures from me!
I enjoy landscape and architectural photography but a few years ago I was invited to assist with the Royal Air Force Motor Sports Association (RAFMSA) on the then Philips Tour of Mull Rally and got the rally bug..

LIGHT: I take all my photographs in a format called RAW. This gives me a complete control over how my images finally look. I spend a lot of time post processing each image to make sure it looks perfect. If I'm not happy with it, you don't see it.
CAMERA: I use my trusty Canon EOS 5D for all my digital work and bullet proof EOS 600 for my wet film work. Although there is about 20 years between the two cameras the controls are very similar and they both produce outstanding pictures.
ACTION: I try to shoot my rally pictures with the lowest shutter speed possible to give the ultimate feeling of movement. My past experience with clay pigeon shooting helps a lot in creating high quality 'pan' shots. This gives your big bucks side sponsor the best possible view of your car.
